unmatched in this industry.
Texas Karate Institute is well-known as one of the
oldest Karate schools in Texas and is celebrating its 49th year in
business. Located in Richardson, Texas Karate Institute has
produced more national champions than any other martial arts school.
Our emphasis on educational excellence, along with a complete martial
arts self defense and fitness curriculum, is the foundation of our
system. The fact that the school now is teaching second and third
generation students of the same family is a testament to our success.

Rooted in a combination of martial-art styles, the Texas
Karate Institute's American Karate program offers a well-balanced and
complete system of unarmed self-defense and fitness. The classes are
based on Korean Chung Do Kwan-Tae Kwon Do, Japanese Karate, Judo, Jui-jitsu,
Aikido and Kickboxing. Our program emphasizes mental and physical
conditioning which allow students to learn better focus, build high
character, set and achieve personal goals, and
develop overall leadership. The skills learned in our martial arts program
enable individuals to maximize achievements in all aspects of life.
Offering instruction to men, women and children, Texas Karate Institute
provides private lessons, traditional Okinawan weapons training, separate
